Purpose:

The purpose of the environmental grants are to:

• Support environmental initiatives relating to affiliated hapū and iwi lands
• Support environmental advocacy and lobbying to protect the Ngāti Pikiao environment
• Support the protection of the environment

Eligibility:

Applicants and or Applicants Groups must be:

• An owner or direct descendant of an owner and/or;
• An affiliated marae and/or;
• An affiliated hapū or iwi authority

Grants are considered quarterly

Round 1 - Opens 1st May - Closes 31st July - Considered and paid in August

Round 2 - Opens 1st August - Closes 31st October - Considered and paid in November

Round 3 - Opens 1st November - Closes 31st January - Considered and paid in February

Round 4 - Opens 1st February - Closes 30 April - Considered and paid in May

Applications must be received prior to the commencement of the event, project or initiative.
